The European Spinal Psychologists Association was set up to promote communication between psychologists working with spinal cord injury and encourages dialogue between health psychologists, counselling psychologists, clinical psychologists and those working in academic settings to promote research and raise the profile of psychological needs of people with spinal cord injuries.

ESPA wishes to assist those involved in the education and training of professionals in disseminating relevant knowledge to ensure the attainment of high clinical standards in all psychological aspects of practice.

Its aim is also to promote research through collaborative projects, publications, correspondence and symposia and to foster knowledge in all psychological aspects of spinal cord injury.

Membership of ESPA is open to all European Psychologists with a professional interest and activity associated with spinal cord injury.

If you would like to become a member of ESPA or would like more details about forthcoming meetings, please contact Mrs Linda Hall, ESPA Secretary, at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
